Everything you need to know
about Paris Aquarium
The Paris Aquarium — officially Aquarium de Paris Cinéaqua — is located inside a former quarry in the 16th arrondissement, steps from the Trocadéro and the Eiffel Tower. Home to over 500 marine species including sharks, rays, jellyfish, and sea turtles, it combines an immersive aquarium experience with cinema screenings and temporary exhibitions.
Particularly well-suited for families with children — the shark tunnel, the jellyfish room, and the interactive discovery areas are designed to be both educational and spectacular. Located directly next to the Trocadéro gardens, it combines well with a morning at the Eiffel Tower or an afternoon at the Palais de Chaillot.
