About this tour
Montmartre Walking Tour
Step into the bohemian soul of Paris. Montmartre is one of the world's most famous neighbourhoods — the hilltop village where Picasso, Renoir, Monet, and Van Gogh lived and worked — and yet most visitors only see its most famous postcard: the Sacré-Cœur and the tourist-trap restaurants around the Place du Tertre. This tour goes somewhere completely different.
Samy — a Montmartre local — will take you through hidden staircases, centuries-old vineyard alleys, artists' studios, and cobbled streets that tourists walk past every day without knowing what they're missing. You'll finish at the Sacré-Cœur with one of the best views over Paris, but you'll arrive there having seen the real neighbourhood first.
